Brooke Knoblauch
In the Matter of the Guardianship of S.H., a minor
Tamera Grace Troesken, Appellant
v.
Larry Herrington and Donna Herrington, Appellees

Tamera Troeskan gave birth to S.H. in 2005. At that time Tamera was living with S.H.’s dad’s (Scott Herrington) parents. (Larry and Donna Herrington) Tamera gave full guardianship to Donna and Larry Herrington. After a week or two the Herrington family forced Tamera out of the house and not allowing her to take S.H. with her. Tamera decided then to try and terminate the guardianship for S.H. Donna and Larry Herrington objected to the termination and the case has been ongoing since then.

In 2011 Tamera tried to appeal the court and gain her child back. She claimed that back in 2005 she didn’t have her life together so she gave guardianship to the Herrington family. Now she states that she is in a better place in life and ready to have her child back. The court objected to her appeal because it was in the best interest of the child if he was placed with the Herrington Family.

The court denies Tamera for lack of credible witness’s to prove that she is a fit mom. The Guardianship with Donna and Larry is in the child’s best interest until Tamera can prove she is a fit mom. Tamera told the court that she was going to nursing school to be a nurse assistant. The court denied that because she couldn’t show proof of her schooling.  Until Tamera can prove she can be a fit mother, S.H. will remain with the Herrington family.
